Massive congratulations to Johnny Boy and Carly on the birth of their baby daughter Isla Katie Thorne borne on Saturday 29th, weighing 7lbs.

All club members are invited to Johnny and Carly’s on Saturday 13th August for a Bar BQ, beers and a laugh.
Just bring a bit of food for the Bar BQ and whatever you want to drink.
You can stay over, so bring your tents/campers/caravan, etc. Plenty of room to camp.
From mid-afternoon onwards….
If you don’t know where it is, call someone from the club for directions.

Meet at 7pm we are then heading off on a treasure hunt. Sheets of clues will be handed out in the car park and cars released at 5min intervals. There may even be prizes!!

SVWC Goes EleMENTAL!!

Elemental VW show is a one day show near Stanstead on 9th April 2011.
Not a show we have ever been too before but it’s local so we should be there supporting them!
We will probably have a cruise from Stevenage (via Ware) on Saturday morning but I’ll post more details after Wednesdays Club Night.

We are having a bit of a nostalgia theme to this month so bring along your memories of the club or dubs from years gone by!
Big Bang 2011
Big Bang has crept into May this year (6th to 8th). However, we’ll need to book club camping fairly soon.
If you are planning to come along and want to camp with the club please let us know ASAP so that we can book a suitable sized plot.

This month we’re having a modelling competition.
Not the Cat Walk style, but the creative style!
Don’t worry all materials will be provided.
It’d be lovely to see some dubs out so hopefully we’ll see some of you there!
Cruise to the 8 Ball Diner
The 8 Ball Diner is having it’s official grand opening.

An afternoon cruise to the Diner then stay as long as you like, even over night if you like, they are having a Big Biker Breakfast the following morning.
We are meeting in the Stevenge Leisure Park Car Park, behind Leap Frog Nursery, there should be plenty of parking in that corner for us all to meet.
